Abscess :: Intra-muscular abscess of right leg – Silicea

Mr. A, aged 20 years had abscess in right leg which remained a hard painful swelling for a long time.

I was consulted on 27.11.70.

I noticed an intra-muscular abscess, and prescribed Silicea 1000 two powders daily.

The swelling started diminishing quickly and became softer.

On 4th December I stopped Silicea and put the patient on Sac Lac but on 7th December

I noticed no further change so decided to continue 2 doses of Silicea 1000 daily.

Improvement again started and the swelling disappeared completely on the 9th December, 1970.
