Bird Flu :: H5N1 Bird flu hits second farm - South Korea

A second chicken farm in South Korea has been found to contain the highly-pathogenic bird flu virus H5N1. The outbreak occurred at a farm close to where a case was confirmed at the weekend.

Quarantine officials are carrying out the slaughter of massive poultry around the first infected farm in Iksan, about 250km (155 miles) south of Seoul.
