A group of Canadian doctors that breastfeeding is such a healthy practice that women should do it for two months longer than had been previously recommended.

The group says a baby's diet should be exclusively breast milk for the first six months. Previous suggestions had said four months was enough.

The doctors say breast milk can help babies ward off a variety of illnesses, and breast feeding can even help mothers lose weight.
