Mr Digambar Kamat - Minister of Power - declared in World Congress on Holistic Medicine that he himself was cured of a disease by homeopathy which did not respond for many years by normal allopathic treatment and as such he is staunch believer of holistic medicine.

World Congress on Holistic Medicine concluded yesterday with valedictory function held at the Goa University?s Conference Hall.

Dr Jayant Budkuley, registrar of Goa University was the guest of honour for the function. He appreciated the organisers for having chosen Goa University as the venture of the world congress and hoped that Holistic medicine would benefit in Goa by the success of the congress.

Dr. Bipin Salkar homeopath and the vice-chairman of the Goa Board of Homeopathy and Indian Systems of Medicine (Govt. of Goa) was present on the dais as the special guest. In his speech he said that he is one of the few practitioners who started the homeopathic practice 25 years back and has seen it growing in popularity day by day.

Dr Sushrut Martins, organizing secretary thanked all the members of the All Goa Holis Medical Association and the Goa branch of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India for rendering support and cooperation in making the world congress a success.
