Home remedies to make skin glow
Healing the skin and keeping it healthy are of primary importance both in preventing further damage and enhancing the patient's quality of life. Key factors are proper bathing and the application of lubricants, such as creams or ointments, within 3 minutes of bathing. A lukewarm bath helps to cleanse and moisturize the skin without drying it excessively.

Skin Care :: Home remedies to make skin glow
There is no shortage of creams and lotions that promise to make your skin glow, but ingredients from the kitchen cupboard are equally effective. Manisha Jain, author of Natural Remedies and Plants for Health, offers some home remedies for skincare:
* Cleansing and moisturizing the skin twice a day is essential. A good way to do it is take one teaspoon of glycerin, two teaspoons of rose water, and one teaspoon of lemon juice and mix them well. Dab the mixture on cotton wool and use to clean the face.
* To make your skin soft and get rid of freckles and tan, take two tablespoons of dried and crushed orange rind, two tablespoon of fresh cream, and one tablespoon of Fuller's earth (Multani mitti). Apply on the face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water.
* Winter fruits like keenus, oranges, carrots, papaya, amla and radish have nutrients good for the skin. Carrots and papaya make for a good breakfast.
