Private sector life insurer, ICICI Prudential Life has launched a new scheme to cover 1,000 surgical procedures and hospitalisation under its health insurance portfolio.
Hospital Care, the new scheme, is available for individuals between the age group of 1-60 and would cover the customers for up to the age of 80, ICICI Prudential Life said in a release here.
Under the scheme the insurer would directly pay the policy holder any amount over and above those incurred towards hospitalisation, the release added.
